"The future ain't what it used to be."

Andre Norton.

Timekeeper
To my recollection, she wrote some great books on time travel. I used to devour the stuff, along with Poul Andersen's writings. Great ideas merchants, same with Pohl and Kornbluth.

I used to read Andre Norton years ago as a kid but I don't remember any time travel stories just space ones.

I remember Andre Norton because she was my favorite Sci-Fi writer. She was the only writer that could get me hooked, on reading any novel she wrote, just within the first page.

She was my first SF writer and the only one in my library who was writing SF for kids/YA....some of the books my dad had out I couldn't understand so well....but then when I was 15 I discovered Jack Vance.
