Black Volga - an urban legend spread in Poland, mainly in the 1960s and 1970s, about a black Volga limousine running around the city, which allegedly kidnapped children.

According to some versions, the black Volga had white curtains on the windows, others mentioned white tires or the absence of license plates. It was supposed to be ridden by priests or nuns, Jews, SB agents, communists from the GDR, or the Russian mafia, possibly vampires or satanists. The car was supposed to circulate on the roads after dark, and its driver to kidnap children and bleed their blood as medicine for wealthy Germans dying of leukemia. The history of the Black Volga River returned in a changed version at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. In this variant of the story, the mysterious individual was to travel in a black BMW (sometimes with horns instead of side mirrors and / or with a registration consisting of three sixes). Drug dealers or Satan himself were also supposed to drive the car. Rumors about a driving black BMW Satan, who asked the people he encountered for an hour and then killed them, sparked a panic attack in Ostrów Wielkopolski. In Siedlce, however, there was talk of a person who allegedly - driving a black BMW - killed only girls, and in Toruń about a refugee who was supposed to pull a child out of a pram.
