Question about first five posts

As most new members know, you have to do a total of 5 posts before being granted full membership. Just wondering if this means I must post 5 new threads or if me commenting on other threads actually counts as well.

The 5 post thing counts for anything posted in the main forums - Off Topic, General Time Travel Discussion, etc. These can be threads or just replies to existing threads, a post is a post is a post.

For those who don't know, this is a relatively new strategy I'm trying to try and curb the spam and/or crazy folks who don't contribute. Seems to be working so far!
