"The future ain't what it used to be."

TTI Music

Get ready for a few sets of new Indie,
of what I like to call  Trendy Indie.

To kick things off, an EP with a name*
that typifies much of what I read here:

The first single off Hollow & Akimbo’s upcoming
*Pseudoscience EP is Fever Dreams.
Genre: American, Indie and Psych-pop.

Okay, it's understandable why Brian didn't like the last song
dedicated to him. He's been through the wringer. Mercy!
I'll bet he can better identify with either of the next two songs
and I hope you, too, will, especially like the allegorical start
as much as the theme of the last song herein.

A Ringside three-pack:
Struggle

Tired of being Sorry
Freedom

Paramids are interesting, though the eventuality of
when the lion’s heart of the sphinx is aligned with the star Regulus
:-|might parallel the end of the Mayan Calendar.
A syzygy figures into Rumspringa - Trickle Charge, too.
But I don't know how that is to "Teach them all what is to come."

That's an outstanding find, Rainman Time. That young man is intelligent and talented. I suspect we may be hearing more from him and about him in the future. I showed this to my son and he told me my grandson follows this guy. Small world.:)

RMT prompted me to be more politically incorrect?!?

Thank you for introducing me to 'acapellascience.'
Intelligent lyrics are too rare.
I look forward to singing along.

Song is a great mnemonic device
for remembering foreign languages,
so why not other studies, as well?

I want to hear Gpa's grandson's music.

Andrew Bird’s “Imitosis” initially had me contemplating palindromes
while inlaying custom tile in conceptually similar patterns. Despite
both that and the video’s reminding me of Bill Gates’ creepy obsession
with mosquito warfare*, I still like the audio-video:
*Gratuitous political incorrectness about another fake philanthropist.

Well, It's yours

What makes you journey into the night
And take flight on a pursuit of musical bliss?
Chasing beats through ghetto streets
To a dungeonous temple left by our soul descendants
In a quest for peace, energy and light.
If you were to find this temple,
Do you have the knowledge to enter the temple?
Do you want it?
And if you had it, would you flaunt it?
Well It's yours!"

[CHORUS]
There is approaching light
A-flowing, soaring through your world
The fire burns within your heart
And now it's yours
If you feel it in yourself
I know the light goes through the stars

Acquiring entrance to the temple is hard but fair.
Trust in God-forsaken elements
Because the reward is well worth the journey.
Stay steadfast in your pursuit of the light.
The light is knowledge.
Do you want it?
And if you had it, would you flaunt it?
It's yours!"

[CHORUS]
There is approaching light
A-flowing, soaring through your world
The fire burns within your heart
And now it's yours
If you feel it in yourself
I know the light goes through the stars

Well, It's yours

Well, It's yours

You stay true to your quest.
So let the beauty that is the musical universe engulf you.
Recharge your spirit.
Purify your mind.
Touch your soul.
And give you the eternal joy and happiness you truly deserve.
You now have the knowledge.
Do you want it?
And if you had it, would you flaunt it?
Well It's yours!"

Well, It's yours

Ahhhhhhh

[CHORUS]
There is approaching light
A-flowing, soaring through your world
The fire burns within your heart
And now it's yours
If you feel it in yourself
I know the light goes through the stars

[CHORUS]
There is approaching light
A-flowing, soaring through your world
The fire burns within your heart
And now it's yours
If you feel it in yourself
I know the light goes through the stars

Well, It's yours
Well, It's yours

The Serenity Prayer
by Reinhold Niebuhr (1892-1971)

God, grant me Serenity to accept
the things that cannot be changed,
Courage to change the things
which should be changed,
and the Wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,
Taking this world as it is,
Not as I would have it,
Trusting that You will make all things right,
If I surrender to Your will,
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with You forever in the next.
