White Knight is the ninth book in The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher. In this installment, Harry Dresden, a professional wizard and private investigator, is recruited by the White Council, the governing body of wizards, to investigate the deaths of several members of their organization. Harry is suspicious of their motives and believes there may be more to the situation than they are letting on.
