Evan Treborn suffered from blackouts as a child, where he would be in one spot one minute and then another the next, remembering nothing in between. Now that he’s all grown up and in college, he decides to read from an old notebook he kept to remember things that happened in the interim, and he finds himself transported back in time. He learns that the blackouts he experienced were actually empty gaps of time that he would have to fill later in life. When Evan tries to utilize this ability to reverse terrible past occurrences, he discovers that every time he goes back and tries to correct things, he ends up making things worse. How can he stop additional tragedies from occuring and save Kayleigh, the only girl he’s ever loved?
