Overview
This is a revision of the United States presidential election of 2004.
The election was between Republican President George W. Bush and Democrat John Kerry. In the current timeline, Bush wins the popular vote narrowly and the Electoral College somewhat handily. Of course, it is a widely-held belief, by myself among others, that every presidential election since 2000 (at least) was rigged, each one being rigged more than the previous. Anyway, in this revised version of history, Bush wins both the popular vote and the Electoral vote by a monumental landslide, carrying no fewer than 48 states! He only misses Rhode Island and Hawaii, as well as the District of Columbia, where he still loses very badly to Kerry; but with more than 23% of the popular vote in DC, he holds 3rd place at this point for the highest percentage of the Republican vote ever in the district. 1st and 2nd place both go to Ronald Reagan, with over 32% in 1984, and over 26% in 1980, respectively. In this revision, Bush has 63.9% of the popular vote compared to Kerry’s 34.7%, for a victory margin of more than 29 percentage points in Bush’s favor. Pretty darn outstanding for a RINO!
The background to this election involves the aftermath of 9/11, the subsequent War on Terror, and the emergence of a grassroots patriotic American movement in which millions of Americans wake up to the fact that virtually all mainstream Democrats and many Republicans (all of these RINOs) are an enormous problem for their country. After the 2002 midterms, where true patriotic Republicans defeat establishment ones in the primaries and achieve a supermajority in both the House of Representatives and Senate, word comes out that 9/11 was an inside job committed by treasonous establishment U.S. politicians and the Deep State. This leads to Congress pushing President Bush much further to the right, so much so that if he yields to the Deep State too often, he’d pay for it by losing the 2004 Republican nomination to a true Republican patriot like Alan Keyes. Instead, Bush yields heavily to the wishes of American patriots, and Keyes declines to seek another presidential run until 2008. This of course leads to Bush winning the 2004 Republican nomination extremely easily, and to his landslide reelection.
