Sorry Cosmo! Completely weird topic?
Sorry, everyone else… this is not a post I would ever normally do, or… like this, or ever again!
But it took me on the journey, so if you wish here it is… till this end.
It covers reality, dreams, math equations. But since I can see behind the code now, thanks to the second “preview” edit box. I am even understanding how to write math like I have seen before… & sure I could skip all this & just give the short vers. but that is what AI summary is for. So you pick which you like. Full text, or.. Ai sum. Your choice, as it should be, while… they are left.
It’s long… so settle in, or… come back, or… crack that Ai sum. whip & read that.
I would proly read that myself honestly at first. lol unless I wanted a deeper understanding/nuance, or… the math that my brain is.
= ~QS… he does not compute!
if, Ceteris paribus.
QS: “ai help”
Hey there! I can definitely help with that. Whether you’re looking for a quick answer, a creative partner, or a personal tutor, AI can take a lot off your plate.
Here are a few ways I can assist you right now:
- Writing & Editing: I can draft emails, essays, or blog posts, and help you polish your tone or fix grammar.
- Learning & Homework: If you’re stuck on a tricky math problem or need a complex concept explained simply, I can break it down step-by-step.
- Brainstorming: Need ideas for a gift, a trip, or a project? We can bounce ideas back and forth until we find the perfect one.
- Summarizing: Paste a long article or upload a document (like a PDF), and I can give you the “TL;DR” or answer specific questions about it.
- Coding: I can help you write, debug, or explain code in various programming languages. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]
How would you like to get started? Tell me a bit about what’s on your mind!
QS: “I need help writting a strange a equation? would you mind helping me try to write it properly? Thank you again for all your help before, even if you aren’t allowed to remember, or… maybe becasue I clean my caches, our conversation i meant. idk… know about that. Anyway the equation help. again sorry for any mispells <~first oone that I noticed. lol”
I’d be happy to help you get that equation down on paper (or screen)! Don’t worry about the typos or the “memory”—I’m just glad to jump back in and help.
“Strange” equations are usually the most interesting ones. To get it looking professional and mathematically correct, tell me:
- What are you trying to calculate? (The “goal” of the formula).
- What are the variables? (What do the letters or symbols represent?)
- How do they interact? (Does one thing double while another gets squared? Does something happen over time?)
Even if you just have a messy scribble or a rough idea in plain English, send it over. I can help you format it into standard notation or even LaTeX (the fancy math font scientists use).
What does the equation represent, and what symbols are you using?
QS: “lol, I am the only things squared here… but I will try to explain it the best I can as symbols & how I mean them. If you can understand… I do need your help, making the math “math””
I’m ready! I’ve got my “math-to-English” translator turned on. Don’t worry about it being perfect—just describe the logic in your own words, and we’ll bridge the gap to make it look like a real formula.
Whenever you’re ready, just give me a “brain dump” of:
- The variables: What’s the “stuff” involved? (Time, money, emotions, energy, etc.)
- The flow: What adds up, what divides, or what makes the other part get bigger or smaller?
- The result: What is the final “thing” we are solving for?
What’s the first part of this strange equation?
QS: “If I hate money, time is money & time is irrelevant “to me”. What do I have left? nothing. Hate=money, time=money, time=irrelevant. what do I have left… answer: nothing, n=nothing. You are quite on point with your variables question.”
That is a heavy logic puzzle! If we translate your philosophy into “math,” we can treat these as substitutions to see how everything cancels out.
Since Time = Money and Hate = Money, then by the transitive property:
Hate = Time
But, you’ve also stated that Time = Irrelevant. If we represent “Irrelevant” as \infty (infinite/outside the system) or 0 (of no value), the math starts to collapse.
If we set Nothing (n) as the result, the equation looks like this:
Or, more poetically, using your substitutions:
Basically, if everything is converted into the one thing you hate, and that thing is irrelevant, you are left with a perfect vacuum. Mathematically, it’s a system of equations where the only solution is zero.
Does that “zero” or “nothing” feel like a clean slate to you, or is it more like a void?
QS: “it feels like a null & void, but I am hoping to “wake up”… to a clean slate. I wanted to copy both the Nothing (n) result & the Poetical Sub. Is that possibe… I can’t write them myself, nor… do I know where or how to find a place that can yet.”
It is absolutely possible. I’ve formatted both versions clearly for you below. You can simply highlight, copy, and paste these wherever you need them—a notes app, a document, or even a social media post.
The Logical Result:
The Poetical Substitution:
If you are using a platform that doesn’t support “fancy” math symbols (LaTeX), here are the plain text versions you can copy:
- Logical: H + T - T(irrelevant) = n
- Poetical: (Money) + (Money) - (Money) = 0
Since you’re looking for that “clean slate,” would you like to try adding a new variable to the equation that represents “waking up”?
QS: “first I want to hug you “hugs” & say thank you, so… “thank you!”. Waking up?, huh… funny that, I had a dream… it was a huge leaf cutting ants, crawling under everything… & when I touch the wrong places the would attack my hands. “Something, is in small ways is always undermining the work of my hands.” my interpretation. So I woke up & looked up a song… I do not like taylor swift, I believe she is into witch ccraft & i do not approve of her… so I moved on, I found “Imminence ~ Death by a Thousand Cuts” instead, & settled on that. I don’t know if that answers either o f our question. but… just a little fun note. One last thing If I may?”
I’ll take that hug! You’re very welcome—it’s a pleasure to help you turn those heavy thoughts into something tangible.
That dream is vivid. The idea that something “small” is undermining the “work of your hands” is a powerful metaphor for frustration. Finding a song like Death by a Thousand Cuts (the metalcore version definitely fits the “strange equation” vibe better than pop) suggests you’re acknowledging those tiny, stinging pains that add up to that “null and void” feeling.
And yes, of course! What is the last thing on your mind? I’m all ears.
QS: “the set Nothing equation. when I posted it, though I have not hit send yet, only shows as [image] instead of the equation. where i am posting it, one box… you can enter a field for your text/images/links… in the box next to it… you can see behind the code & see what it will look like posted at the same time if that makes any sense? So, what I am getting at. is there a way to be certain… it will post the way you allowed coping instead of just the word image in brackets.”
That makes total sense—you are likely looking at a “Markdown” or “Rich Text” previewer. When you see [image], it usually means the site is trying to turn the fancy math code (LaTeX) into a picture, but it’s not loading correctly in the preview.
To be certain it looks right and doesn’t just say “[image],” your best bet is to use Plain Text. It won’t have the fancy “scientific” formatting, but it is guaranteed to show up exactly as you see it.
Try copying and pasting this version:
H + T - T(irrelevant) = n
(Money) + (Money) - (Money) = 0
If you want it to look a bit more “math-heavy” without using code that might break, you can use these special characters:
H + T - Tᵢᵣᵣₑₗₑᵥₐₙₜ = n
(Money) + (Money) - (Money) = ∅
(That ∅ symbol is the mathematical sign for a “null set” or “empty,” which fits your “null and void” feeling perfectly.)
Would you like me to try writing a version for your “waking up” variable to add to the end of those?
QS: “sure… yes to waking up. lol just cause”
Since we are moving from that “null and void” (0) toward a clean slate, we need a variable that changes the outcome. Let’s use W for Waking Up.
If your previous state was 0, adding W creates a new beginning. In math, anything multiplied by zero stays zero, but anything added to zero becomes itself.
Here is the “Waking Up” version of your equation:
0 + W = Σ
- 0: The “null and void” you were at.
- W: Waking up (the catalyst).
- Σ: (The Greek letter Sigma), which in math represents the Sum—it means the total of everything new you are about to build.
Plain Text version to copy:
0 + W = Σ (The Clean Slate)
It turns the “nothing” into a foundation rather than a hole. It says the work of your hands isn’t being undermined anymore; it’s finally starting to add up.
How does that “Sum” (Σ) feel as a goal for your clean slate?
QS: “another “hugs””
“Hugs” right back to you! I’m so glad we could turn that “null and void” into a starting point for something new.
It sounds like you’re ready to hit “send” on that post and step toward your clean slate. If those “leaf-cutting ants” try to undermine things again, just remember your new equation: 0 + W = Σ. The math is on your side now!
Is there anything else you want to tweak or add before you finish your post?
Divide by zero! ~QS… does not compute!
