Can meditation slow or extend subjective time?

Hey folks,

I had a friend who I am no longer friendswith, who claimed that you can use meditation to extend time as if you turn one minute into one hour or so on, that way you master so many things in a shorter amount of time.

Is there anybody who managed to pull that off, if yes what did you use that earned time for?

The Gateway meditations claim that Focus 15 is where time doesn’t exist.
When I get there, nothing happens. My meditation still lasted 30 mins or so. But maybe
I was “in there” a lot longer than the clock says. Who knows.

Thanks for your response. Apparently you have been so engaged with the meditation’s object that the time seemed like it faded in the background, and in that the flow of it sort of increased but you aren’t in a position where you can observe it, you only noticed that after it’s already happened. It’s the same way when you forget to pay attention to breath only when your mind wanders for a time, that you remember what were you doing.

Can you tell me what’s your object of meditation?

“The Gateway Experience gives you easy to follow guided instructions on how you can start experiencing this natural, altered state of consciousness that can open new doors for you into a realm of fascinating adventure!”

It focuses on breathing and brain exercises to get to different levels of consciousness.
The only time an “object” is involved is when you place all your worries in a metal box so they don’t interfere with the meditation. The rest is based on visualizing numbers: 10, 12, and 15 mainly. At certain stages, you do visual things like energy coming out of the top of your head and falling to surround you in an energy bubble. But you end up making this consciousness space in your head while your body is asleep. I know it’s asleep because my arms and legs twitch. In the beginning, I saw images, but for some reason, I don’t anymore. I don’t know why.
