I’m calling out MSM for attempting to create a fake crisis, again, because there is allegedly a Hantavirus case in Michigan. It’s a rat virus.
Only 5 people in the entire country have died from it in 2018. Hardly a crisis. BUT CDC deleted ALL data from 2019+ Don’t you find that odd? Proof here.
Don’t fall for this one. It is not, and never will be, a crisis. Turn off the news or simply don’t believe any of it. It’s all a show. Fake. Reality is in your back yard. Enjoy it.
I went cold turkey on anything news related. Exhausted by all of it. Life is more fun without that bullshit in your ear, and now I have more time for this place.
The fundamental difference between COVID-19 and Hantavirus comes down to how they spread—specifically, person-to-person transmission versus animal-to-person transmission. While both target the respiratory system, their biological mechanisms and transmission vectors create entirely different public health profiles.
COVID-19, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, is highly contagious due to its primary transmission mode through respiratory droplets and microscopic aerosols. When an infected person breathes, talks, coughs, or sneezes, they release viral particles that can remain suspended in the air or travel across short distances. Because the virus replicates efficiently in the upper respiratory tract, it requires minimal contact to spread, giving it a high basic reproduction number (R₀) and allowing it to move rapidly through communities.
In stark contrast, Hantavirus is a zoonotic disease that is not considered contagious between humans. People contract Hantavirus almost exclusively through contact with infected rodents, most notably the deer mouse in North America. The virus is shed in the animal’s urine, feces, and saliva. Humans typically become infected by inhaling airborne dust particles contaminated with these rodent excretions, an event that frequently occurs when cleaning out long-vacant cabins, sheds, or barns.
Because Hantavirus does not typically pass from person to person, the chain of transmission stops with the individual who encountered the rodent habitat. With the exception of rare outbreaks of a specific strain in South America known as the Andes virus, horizontal transmission between humans is virtually non-existent. This means healthcare workers or family members caring for a patient with Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome are not at risk of contracting the illness from them.
Ultimately, this difference in transmission dynamics creates a paradox of risk between the two viruses. Hantavirus is far more lethal on an individual basis, carrying a mortality rate of around 38%, but its inability to spread between humans limits it to isolated, accidental environmental exposures. COVID-19 carries a much lower individual mortality rate but presents a massive global threat precisely because its highly contagious airborne nature allows it to infect millions of people simultaneously.
Crazy. I could have sworn I made this most recently, not 5 years ago. I think they keep trying to scare people with Hanta. I believe a cruise ship had a few infected people in it. Keep clean. Stay away from mice and rats!
