Idaho earthquake felt at 5:30 MST

4.5 in Idaho at about 5:30 MST?

Didn’t feel it personally, but an interesting event. Thanks for pointing it out MEM.

Tis the season!

Anyone see this:

Must be Titor sending his minions a signal! Now I am sure there are plenty of people around here who would be willing to “interpret” what the signal means.

how about 2 more months left until we celebrate the “Titor is BS” party that you are holding!

Now THAT one really made me laugh! Good one, Roo!

Hell yeah  seriously though, it is a bit wierd.

I’ve got a pretty good headache.

Took it easy today.

When I get these, there is usually a good earthquake, a while after.

Someone on another popular posting board, said it was the New Madrid.

Looks harmonic.

harmonic?

Increasing, cyclic, series of mounting tremours.

Oh, harmonic.

(Do you have an increase in tornados and earthquakes than what we have now? is the average temperature in Florida in your time about the same as it is here? or is it different?)

Titor: That’s one area I’ve decided not to talk about…sorry. The average temperature worldwide is a bit cooler.

Titor: You asked about the North Polar ice pack. I never said the environment wasn’t a problem. Doesn’t water expand when it freezes? If the polar ice cap melted, wouldn’t sea level go down? I don’t know if there’s enough ice for this to make a difference and I’m not an expert on global warming.

Titor: I also heard someplace that if the ice mass on Antarctica melted today, sea level worldwide would rise about 100 feet. I’m not exactly sure that’s true but still… Mt. Everest might be a bit of a stretch.

Titor: The big one? As you are experiencing now, there are earthquakes, storms and other unfortunate surprises from Mother Nature that have impacts on your society and future history. That is one reason I won’t go into detail. However, don’t worry too much about major portions of coastline slipping under water.

Volcanoes curb rise in sea levels

Violent volcanic eruptions help to combat some of the effects of global warming by cooling the Earth and keeping a check on rises in sea level, scientists have discovered.

Eruptions are known to have a cooling effect on the planet’s atmosphere because the fine particles thrown up by the volcanoes linger in the air at high altitudes and reflect sunlight and warming infrared radiation before it can hit the Earth’s surface.

So… we go back to the yellowstone theory huh?

It’s not about going back. That was a news article that came out RECENTLY.

If Titor indeed is a fraud, he would have said that the temperature is higher or the sea levels did increase considerably. But he clearly says sea levels would not rise.

What I meant by ‘going back’ was that no-ones really mentioned that for a month or too (aside for once or twice).

That would be inappropriate logic. You cannot realistically claim you know how Titor would have positioned himself on anything. Beyond that, you are forgetting the simplest answer: Titor was simply WRONG in his guesses about global temperature change.

how convenient that NBC-2 find a “2” in the weather pattern…

And how convenient I can’t find reference to it on the supporting links

Seeing how we’re talking about earthquakes, this is the best place to put this…
