It depends what you’re talking about whether it’s indistinguishable or not. What we’re talking about here is whether you could create gravity by spinning this wheel that would draw something from the outside in because of the gravity created. Now, I agree that you can spin a bucket full of water round above your head and the forces acting on the water will be more or less indistinguishable from gravity for the water itself. However, what you won’t be doing is creating a gravity well, and you could drop particles of dust next to your spinning bucket, and they wouldn’t be attracted to the “gravity” created by the motion.

After reading about John for about a year now, I have to say this: Please find a way to disprove him!! That is what everybody wants. That way we donâ€™t have to look at the uncomfortable future. We can breathe a collective sigh of relief and go on with our excessive life style. I read from all of the posts of the unbelievers that his science is flawed, his speech is not of the time period he claims to be from and he just does not fit what they think a TT should sound like. He claims he comes for a time when the community is all a person works for, I think this bothers a lot of people. I would also hazard a guess that those same people come from the city. I grew up on a ranch in Nevada, without running water, electricity or a grocery store for over 50 miles. This was during the 60â€™s and 70â€™s, we moved to the city in the early 80â€™s. It was a culture shock for me, people were very rude and abrupt in there ways of doing things. As far as him knowing all of the things about this time period, I wonder how much you really remember about the 70â€™s, or even the 80â€™s for that matter. I know from personal experience that the killing of people is distasteful, and can make a person look at things differently. What he tried to explain to everyone was what the feelings where, He did better than I could have. If you disbelieve that the future John Titor spoke of could never come true, you might want to turn on the TV, read the news or ask yourself if the reason you donâ€™t believe is because John was not a TT or if you are scared that he was.

I think he has been pretty much debunked, even though his hoax was a good one.

As for the future, who knows what it will bring? For all we know, Titor’s future could be infinitely preferable to the one that we’re actually going to have.

I’m not scared that he was a time traveller. I also do not see current events moving in the direction s he predicted. I’m reasonably sure that we’re in a dark period of history, and that things can easily get worse than they are now, and they probably will. But I don’t see pretty much anything he predicted as being likely.

Well to put it quite simple, my technology is mostly top secret. The devices we used were a later version of John Titor’s famous Variable Gravity Lock, a means of maintaining an accurate fix on the environment. also the torturing for a month is unreasonable. if someone would be tortured like that for a month they would have a mental breakdown as people do in this age and time. also we are learning that the balance in brain chemicals controls our moods so if some1 had an imbalance then the bowl tests would show the changes and have a docter fix it meaning that there would be no crime worth punishing some1 with torture for a month.

Can’t write with proper grammar, spelling or sentence structure.
Cannot remember what they have written on this board one page to the next.
No basic understanding of mathematics or science (I knew more than you in grade 9, so don’t tell me it’s because your major is history)

Basically, you don’t seem to have a basic understanding of anything, so how can you say that you are smarter? Honestly, go back and read your posts, a 12 year old OF THIS TIME could write better than you and you claim to be 22 years old! Why would you come to this time? Why not go back to when John Titor was posting on this board? It would be alot easier to track him down then don’t you think. Since John was wrong about parallel timelines (according to you), then go back, and when your posts pop up on this board dated 2000, we will all believe you. This should be fairly easy for you since you have a time machine! It seems to me that you are wasting your time hanging around in 2004, Titor is gone. hes going to make some lame excuse why he cant. cause if he did then you wouldnt make that post and we would all believe him. also if i was a time traveler from the future the last thing i would want to do is post and tell everyone that i was (unless i was from a parellel universe like John Titor). i would know that if i made predictions then the world will turn out different. if i was a historian that traveled back then i would not watch the simpsons i would instead watch the news (about 90% true) and record what i found out. with your memory chrono you would need alot of paper with you to record. or else people in the future would think that all we are is barbarians.

let me make some predictions that are going to happen in the future. theres going to be a severe drought in some parts of the united states. theres going to be an earthquake in california. theres going to be a terrorist event soon (dont know where) but its going to happen within 5-10 days. hey im pretty good. maybe i should start telling people that i am from the future aswell.

I have been reading about this Titor stuff, did anyone ever point out that when asked the question:

“What are the other time travelers’ destinations, and missions?”

he replied:

“I am not aware of the details of other missions. Of the seven, three had
already left before I did. I suspect they are on similar missions.”

One problem with this is that he already stated that when people go off on their time trip they come back (perceived) immediately after they left. So surely John has made a glaring mistake in the above response. Isn’t he implying that he does not know the details of other time travellors because they were not back from their trip?
