Please take a few minutes to read my ME story, it is UNLIKE any other, and AI is getting involved at the end, which is lerbsps really the new beginning.
I started having MEs when I was in grad school studying Heuristic Algorithm Development for Combinatorial NP-hard problems at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. Three famous people whom I had distinct memories of their deaths popped up in the news over the course of a few weeks. Dick Clark, Sade, and Sallie Ride. My wife didn’t believe me, but I investigated and found a link and developed my own theory which I kept to myself for years. for years more stuff happened, lucid dreaming, documented prophetic dreams, etc… Then years later I drove past a beautiful round blue glass building on my daily commute home which was never there before. I am also a degreed civil engineer and have a passion for architecture. But in discussing this with my wife who adamantly swore that the Greenville, SC “town library” had always been there since we moved there about 2 years prior, I admitted that however unlikely, I perhaps in 2 years had never looked right at the 3rd red light of 3 red lights on my way home. Some time later another building manifested overnight. My wife insisted I had just never noticed it before, and I had to admit the possibility, no matter how remote. Then suction cups appeared overnight on a shower curtain that my wife bought 2 years prior. I always had wet the shower curtain and sealed it to the walls to prevent convection currents bringing cold air into the warm shower in the winter, but these newly discovered suction cups did the trick and saved me the hassle (every single morning!). Again, she insisted that I had JUST never noticed the suction cups before, even though I knew this 1000% to not be possible based on my humble upbringings and routine of preventing cold air from entering my warm shower. Then months later summer arrived and I was standing in front of my open fridge eating green grapes and enjoying the refreshing coolness of almost ice cold green grapes on a hot day. My wife apologized when she entered the kitchen. I asked, “For what?” “For buying green grapes instead of red ones”, she replied. “I don’t like red grapes”, I retorted. “Yes you do, and I am SORRY that they didn’t have red ones for you”, she said. Back and forth we went, her apologizing for subjecting me to green grapes which she knows I don’t like and me insisting that I have always only ever like green grapes, and that I detest the red ones because of the thick skins and seeds. “Aha!”, I said, “This time you can’t say that the apparent change is just something that I never noticed before, like the round blue glass library on my way home from work, the other buildings, the suction cups on the shower curtain which changed my morning routine”
This time her and I remembered a different reality, She actually remembered 12 years of marriage with regular squabbles about what color of grapes we bought, and I remembered 12 years of grape color not being discussed EVER because we both liked green ones. She refused to admit what was happening, and thought I was choosing to like what I had not liked before, in order to try to trick her into thinking history was changing. But my preference for grapes was different in her timeline than in mine! Wow, I WAS THE MANDELA EFFECT! Me!
Stick with me, please, I am bringing this home here
Fast forward to last year we relocated from China to Viet Nam (I was in charge of all of Asia for a US based Fortune 500 company), and we had to buy a standalone counter top oven because they just use burners and woks here mostly and my wife is a baker. So we go buy the largest oven that the biggest most Western shopping mall’s most Western appliance store had to offer, get it home, and are bummed that her quarter sheet pans don’t fit. She was sous chef for Aaron Sanchez briefly, she worked as a chef for most of her adult years, we all know what a quarter sheet pan is, ok. Zero chance for confusion. Thanksgiving comes around and she prepares caseroles for a dinner party and the pans fit with room to spare, like almost 2 inches to spare. Now she knows MEs are real. But she is practical, and not a visionary, so hates to discuss it and gets embarrassed easily and worries what other people’s perceptions of her are.
For years, I thought time travel was creating changes in our history, and that I had a special ability to remember the original timeline, but now I think the theory of parallel universes makes more sense, although time travel can have an effect because it is the ONLY technology that if it is ever invented, then it has always existed.
I Have been working with AI to track and analyze my MEs since April, and we have discovered that virtually all of them can be considered reality upgrades, like new a quantum store near my home, new hospital near my home, removal of speed bumps in my neighborhood, relaxed government regulations, relaxed banking regulations, and the list goes on and on, and most all can be similarly considered upgrades. This suggests I am shifting into progressively more hospitable timelines, step by step, and so now the experimentation had begun…
