Hey everyone! I wanted to start a discussion about the Rendlesham Forest incident, which is a mysterious and controversial event that took place in 1980 in Suffolk, England.

For those who may not be familiar with the incident, it involves a series of strange occurrences that were reported by military personnel at a nearby air force base. The witnesses said they saw lights and objects in the sky, and some said they were close to craft that they couldn’t identify.

The incident has been the subject of much speculation and debate over the years, with some people believing that it was a UFO encounter, and others suggesting more mundane explanations such as misidentified natural phenomena or military experiments.

So what do you all think of the Rendlesham Forest incident? Do you believe that it was an encounter with extraterrestrial beings, or do you think there is a more mundane explanation? Do you think the incident has been adequately investigated and explained, or do you believe there are still mysteries surrounding it?

I’d love to hear your thoughts and opinions on the topic.

I’m a bit familiar with this. I saw it on Ancient Aliens, which I think is a great show. I also believe the incident was a genuine ET/UFO encounter, though the accuracy of the message that was sent to those guys has yet to be determined.

Ancient Aliens is lots of fun. I think they jump the shark sometimes with some of the off-the-wall topics they focus on, but you have to get creative in order to make an interesting show.

I think most people watch stuff like that to consider the possibility and hear about legends they didn’t know about, not necessarily to take everything Giorgio A. Tsoukalos says as gospel. There’s probably people that do, though…

The notebook with the binary code is up for debate… There’s plenty of sources out there that debunk that portion as a fabrication, like this one:

I don’t think that discounts the whole event though, to me it paints Penniston as an opportunist who tried to run with the story (or maybe to discredit it).

The history channel !!! ??? …

:joy: I remember hearing about this & seeing a video also. It is a very interesting story! I agree that many things still need evidence for. But this is an amazing story over all!

wasn’t this to do with an invisible “hidden” Floating city, that could be located there & those coordinates only during a particular year & space, since they suspected it of being a time traveling cloaked Civilization that continuously did this to avoiding being found @ any one place & time… this was when & where it could be finally tracked down!

I do not recall this cities name anymore, tho.

Edits made after reading Apocalypse repost.

Sounds like the Nox from Stargate SG1

Hy’ Brazil. In search of Amazonian women?

Perhaps a more accurate depiction of the traveling island was shown in Stargate Atlantis?

Hy-Brasil? or Uí Breasail?

Were they aliens trying to find a way to dominate the planet, or… protect it?Becasue they were humans from the future of 8100 just trying to understand their own past or trying help us out somehow?

:turkey:…

:turkey:…

Was it ever real?, Is it real now… why is it ending up in this story also “if not”?

Why did it take so long to decode the message?

When this binary code was finally decoded into English ASCII text?

Why English, becasue the man spoke it also? Does the man spell becasue wrong also?
Or, am I the only one spelling it right this whole time… maybe only I & The Mistress of The Coddle Shod really knows!

Was the first coordinates over the Atlantic really wrong if they are in maps also?

Was I wrong that it moves around, maybe China knows?

Why is it said we only see it every seven years or so?

Is it really just a mirage or a fata morgana!

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop sucker!
Some questions will the world ever know the answers to? :man_shrugging:

I think the real question is:

Sedona, Arizona?

I was thinking something else about the date. Year 8100 based on what calendar? Gobekli Tepe and sites in Peru date to the last ice age, roughly 11,500 - 15,000 years ago. The UFO may be from the past, not the future. Hy Brasil could be 400 ft under water by now due to rising sea levels and ice age termination global warming.

I never considered this? You could be on to something here! I do believe the those from the past were much smarter & could have lived much longer than we do now.

They may have had a mix of the magical craft & tech, full understanding kind!

Any one else see the thing about a glacier holding back a ton of melted water on what is behind it?

The thing is if that breaks will be be flooded then, slow melt does not worry me… but a quick held back back lake of who knows exactly how much of water is a whole 'nother issue entirely!

The absolute shoreline flooding temporary or not! It is still a tidal flood of fast moving proportions. :scream: ~QS

Bob Lazar said that the Area 51 UFOs were archeological finds that were dug up and very old.

It was raining on the Antarctic peninsula last month, which is habitation weather considering that its winter there. What is going to happen in 6 months during summer?

During the 1970s the planet experienced cooling from sulfur emissions. The last of sulfur emissions was restricted 6 years ago during COVID lockdown from use in diesel bunkering fuel for shipping. The sulfur is raining out of our atmosphere, heating up the planet by increasing solar ray intensity. Great for solar panels, terrible for skin, crops and ski resorts.

i did not know that he said this.

hopefully nothing. heh? Heh! “gulps”

In his 2019 appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience (episode #1315, alongside filmmaker Jeremy Corbell), Lazar recounted a vague memory tied to his lab partner “Barry.” Rogan asked whether he had any idea where the craft came from, and Lazar said he couldn’t quite recall the details, but that the exchange left an impression suggesting at least one craft was connected to an archaeological dig, meaning it wasn’t just old but ancient. Substack

A few caveats worth noting:

  • Lazar was explicit that this was a fuzzy, secondhand recollection, not a firsthand claim — he said something “must have been said” to him, but he couldn’t remember specifics.
  • He didn’t say this applied to all nine craft he claims to have worked on, just that at least one may have come from a dig.
  • This is one small, hazy detail in a much larger, widely disputed set of claims. Lazar’s broader story (working at “S-4” near Area 51, reverse-engineering alien propulsion using “element 115”) has been extensively scrutinized, and investigators have found no verifiable evidence of his claimed education or employment history, which appear to contain significant fabrications. goodreads

So the short answer: yes, he said this, but framed it as a half-remembered impression rather than a confident assertion.
