Although I cannot give you the specifics on the type of negative mass used, I can tell you that negative mass in general is a form of exotic mass which is repelled by gravity rather than being attracted by it.
It is used not as part of the machine, but to create a slip/field through which the unit travels.

Robotics/Artificial Intelligence I have mentioned in a previous post regarding standard functionality in the average household, however the US Armed Forces, for example, has drastcially reduced its human involvment in warfare by using these new technologies. The amount of human presence in the front lines of military conflict have been reduced by over 50% in favor of robots with various levels of artificial intelligence.
Another poster asked about Automated Highway Systems, and although they have not yet completely come into use, there are test sites that have and the entire concept is very exciting.
Hand-held devices have been around for what seems like forever, but the technology that has been packed into them has grown so much that you can do just about anything with even a standard hand-held device. They can do the basics, of course, like make phone calls, text, play music, video, and tv, but nowadays nearly all of them can be used for so much more! For example: complete various computing functions (some have peripherals that can be used), to make purchases (just like a credit card), basically validate yourself anywhere (gaining access to certain locations, events, etc.). Nearly everyone is attached to their hand-held like a third arm.

Now you’re not all that happy to answer. Imagine that. I believe you are looking for something that does not exist. I think you are expecting me to reveal to you the inner workings of how we achieved the technology because you think that is what we gave the public and scientific community, however that is not the case. They did not receive the ins and out of how it works and what we did, but instead only the results. I have already given as much information as I am allowed in that previous post, however I can share with you some of the additional results contained in those documents if you’d like…
The first trials of the system (Phase I) were all conducted in Brussels. These early trials were completed using a first generation All-Inclusive Travel Unit (AITU) which was about the size of an average microwave. These trials simply tested the process during which pieces of information and various objects were placed within the AITU and ‘jumped’. These trials led to Phase II, during which trials were also held in Brussels. Phase II used the same AITU, however the trails were carried out using longer spans of jumps. Phase III through Phase VI were conducted in Virginia and were the first trials to use the second generation AITU which was large enough to fit a person. Although the size had changed to allow transport of a human, this was not done until the next Phase (VII) which was conducted in Brussels. This was the first manned mission and the jump was one month. The next two missions were conducted in Virginia (including my own) with the second being a jump of one year. I cannot go too far into the sensitive data, however during the first Phase is when we discovered that we would not be able to travel ‘in a straight line’, but instead had to ‘jump’ from a singular point to a mid-point and then finally to the destination point. With the introduction of the second generation AITU, we found that because of the great difference in mass doing the traveling, there at times required a second mid-point to which the unit would have to jump before reaching the destination. The negative mass would continue repelling at each point and eventually allow the unit to reach its final destination point.
