Sodium Ion batteries are expected to rapidly overtake all other battery types at 10% the production cost of lithium.
Dude John Titor is not real I don’t know why you keep spamming posts about him.
According to whom?
What does that mean “isn’t real?”
Are you real?
Seriously he isn’t, has been debunked for ages by many people.
Court is now in session. Plaintiff, please present your supporting evidence before this court.
Im not real. Im a figment of at least a dozen people’s imagination… everybody likes to know there’s at least 1 person on this earth dumber than everyone else. Im that guy.
I appreciate that Mr. Doe. I think everyone could use a dumb wingman from time to time.
On the matter of J.T_0’s actuality, I would argue his very absence is evidence that he was at least serious about leaving one way or another. If it were a hoax, where is he?
Idk. People die sometimes, get bored and quit, go into isolation because they don’t really want human connections, get arrested and thrown in prison for years, or just run out of things to say. The possibility of time travel is not off the table, I just dont believe it. I have no reason to believe it.
To build a functional machine would be expensive in the very least. Parts are exotic, not readily available from Ace Hardware or anywhere else, in fact the technology that will allow us to manufacture the exotic parts to build one, has only in the past 15 years become something more affordable to the public.
I dont know this guy. Is it even a guy? Could be a girl, or an alien in some musty basement of Area 51. I dont know anyone who knew this person personally, do you? Has anyone hung out at his house, had a few beers or ate with his family?
Too many variables for me to make any logical conclusion that says, “yeah, I think maybe this actually happened”. Few things I accept on faith alone.
You and anyone else are free to believe whatever you choose, and I claim the same freedom to believe what I choose. If I dont have that then I have nothing.
Lol! Mr. Doe! Nobody is named Mr. Doe.
Ive specified my wish to be otherwise named, to the administrators. My name is Mike, just call me Mike.
Time Travel… a touchy subject for obvious reasons. I am really not that smart. If I was, I wouldn’t be here and we wouldn’t be discussing John Titor or MIKE Marcum.
YES the possibility exists, NO it hasn’t been accomplished, to any obvious extent. Mostly because people do not want to travel forward in time. Everybody seems to be stuck on the notion of going back and changing things, which I think is a horrible idea. Reverse time travel is not good. Idk if its good in any form but the future is a blank page the past is already written. Same as if you wrote a thesis… everything in ink is already there, the blank white paper before the pen is open to anything, even if you went there right now, its unwritten. So many variables but in the past those variables are cemented in reality. And the effects are noticeable right now, in the present. We have a history, we can remember it. If everything were movable, we would experience Mandela effect by the second. Nothing would ever remain unchanged! I do not believe the past is changeable. (I do believe in rips in the STC, that we have no control over. Its just a past from an alternate reality.) The future however is… whatever we make it. There are things I wish were different. I wish my dad was still here… I wish I’d have had the knowledge that something was very wrong 3 days before he went to the hospital. But I didn’t.
Whatever devices we create to move around in time, I think we need to focus on RIGHT NOW, so that right now positively impacts tomorrow.
Why is it bad to want to change mistakes? What bad things would happen? Nothing much would change only your own life.
Butterfly Effect COR, related to entanglement. The idea is, you cant change things if theyve already happened. The only thing you can do, is the best you can TODAY. Tomorrow is too late. Things done today MIGHT ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO AFFECT YESTERDAY and Tomorrow … so, keep that in mind.
Its a weird physics, I know. It doesn’t make any sense! But its coming together, a little at a time. What isn’t possible today can change tomorrow or yesterday, but might not be possible the next day. I think points in time have corresponding points at another time. One might be unchangeable without the other.
So, put on some Led Zeppelin chill and enjoy your Friday.
It seems unfair that we cant fix our mistakes. But we can make tomorrow better for the mistakes we’ve made… if we learn from them.
And as I’ve said many times, I believe forward travel is possible! Im not sure whats ahead though. The possibility is endless what could await us in the next 5 minutes or 100 years.
You might go ahead a week and find yourself in a desolate landscape after a nuclear strike. You could find yourself in a world where Yellowstone has erupted and volcanic ash is falling from the sky. What if, to time travel actually skews you onto an alternate timeline as a natural function of moving around in the W axis???
Butterfly effect like with time travel only happens in movies. You don’t know what actual physics or real world scenarios would do. Many people say just kicking a rock would flip the world upside down how? Very not likely. If you don’t run for President then nothing major would happen.
I wish your words go without saying. For some strange reason people have issues with having a discussion. Have you ever heard a song called Nutshell by Alice in Chains? One line in the song goes: If I can’t be my own, I’d feel better dead. ![]()
Your comment reminded me of that, and I agree.
People that disagree just to be a contrarian is the only time I can’t have a discussion. Otherwise, I rather enjoy speaking to people that don’t share my point of view. You learn more from losing a discussion than winning.
With that being said, I think you underestimate the John Titor story. However, even if you do believe, it won’t change your life in any significant way. After all, when the wave function collapses, we are not aware of any outcome in our reality but the one we see.
This is the dilemma. The crux of it all. It is not about belief. Mathematically, there’s no doubt that under certain conditions, backwards time travel is possible. Tipler, Kurt Gödel, etc… gave us the math. Now, if it is possible, with enough “time” it is inevitable.
Hi Cor, Please don’t take this wrong, because even though I can’t guarantee John Titor was a time traveler!
I do have to humbly disagree…
If you mean “whether a real person/isn’t real”,
or do you mean “HIm” as a time traveler… isn’t real,
or just as the idea someone has time traveled… isn’t real!
I clealry believe whomever John Titor was, was real person.
Otherwise, I agree it is only speculation on most of our parts, if he actually timetraveled, but I think… he did!
I look at this, like if miracles are real… some people nearly no matter what, will doubt because of what they consider unreasonable evidence or how they believe the world really is! Yet others will believe… because they have seen what they consider reasonable evidence & I say… to each his own!
As we seem to disagree only on this point, that he has been “debunked” from my persceptive!
But as John_Doe said*
“You and anyone else are free to believe whatever you choose, and I claim the same freedom to believe what I choose. If I dont have that then I have nothing.” Wise words indeed!
I am absolutely certain… someone has time traveled! Who it was, no honest clue, but I believe it was… John Titor, or another person?
Cor I do respect your belief… I just humbly disagree! ![]()
Sincerely & hopefully a future friend to you & everyone here, QuantumSoundwave~QS
*further down, or further up… depending how you look at it.
P.S. I really gotta stop posting sooo late,
