Is it really time traveling, or interdimensional? I could be wrong. There just seems to be a lot more magic in the past than in the present. That being said, it is the best horror/fantasy/slapstick comedy spin-off sequel/trilogy of gore horror film I have ever seen. No doubt about that.
The continuity within the movie timeline suggests that all actions, present and past, occur within 1 concurrent worldline dimension.
“Klaatu Barada Nikto”
These are the important words.
It’s been a minute, so I will take your word for it. The skeletons are probably my favorite. They used everything from stop motion, to puppetry, to 10 cent masks, to Pez dispenser tech. I can’t imagine trying to edit that scene.

That quote is from the 1951 film “The Day the Earth Stood Still” if I remember correctly.
