Re:John Titor's Prediction was: Obama named
Hi Kanigo:
TAKEN FROM CNN
*“We could see gas go up to $6 in certain states,” said Kerr. “I think the baseline will be more like $4.50, maybe even $5.”
The ExxonMobil (XOM, Fortune 500) refinery in Baytown, Texas, with a daily capacity of 567,000 barrels, is the largest refinery in North America. And the eye of the hurricane passed right over it.*

I have boxes of canned goods, a 270 gallon fuel tank ready to go, and a garden that supplies me with fresh produce.
Back when I told people to get a scooter I got laughter from Darby. My 150mpg scooter is what I plan to use when gasoline is rationed. John Titor did say “Get a Bicycle!”.
Hi rain:
Your name fortells our future, a lot of rain and dark clouds ahead. You point to a few prediction I get wrong, well I cannot guarantee 100% accuracy, however what I see tends to come true. For example, back in 2001 I had an argument another person over what computers would be like in 2009. That person told me said that in 2009 we would not use the mouse and the keyboard, my opponent said that people would use voice input to type and that both the keyboard and mouse would disappear.
I told him it would make the office noisy with everybody talking, but that although voice input would be available few would use it.
Well, I am willing to bet that come 2009 most letters will be “typed” into a computer using a keyboard. Seeing the future is not that hard. I did predict that terabyte drives would come out in 2007 and be common by 2009. Also that multicore computers would be common.
I said that people would need more memory and disk space to create videos for the web. Back then he laughed and said “So everybody will have a $1000/mo T-1 line?”
Debunkers cannot see the future. I pay $10/mo for an HD capable DSL line that can handle up to 16 megabytes/sec. A terabyte drive that sold for $350 in 2007 now sells for $199. I just bought a quadcore computer with 5 gigs of memory for $499.
In the future there will be shortages of food & fuel, so unless you want to slowly starve to death I would stop giggling and start gathering supplies.
Hi Darby:
Today I was supposed to meet with a few of my neighbors who are building shelters, but rather than socialize I am working on getting my shelter up to snuff. Things are getting worse. A girl from Louisiana told me that where she lives gas is over $6/gal. A friend of mine owns a fuel company and I plan to buy 1000 gallons before things get bad. He suggested that I fill up my 270 gallon tank, but I fear that may not be enough. I purchased a 1000 gallon tank.
The problem is that gasoline get stale so I have to add fuel stabilizer. This adds about ten cents to each gallon. Back in Jan 2007 when gasoline was $1.87/gallon I got about 800 gallons of fuel and I am now down to only 50 gallons. I was hoping the hurricane would not hit and I could buy the gas at $3/gal. Doing Astral Time Travel I saw martial law declared in the future and food riots.
