Discourse (the software that powers our forum) just rolled out an end of year feature called Discourse Rewind, and it’s now live here at TTI.
If you spot a little animation pulsing around your avatar, that’s your invitation to take a look back at your 2025 activity on the forum. Click it and you’ll get a breakdown of your year; your posting rhythm, which topics pulled you in, how much you used chat, writing analysis, and a bunch of other stats I didn’t even know could be tracked.
This year’s edition has a retro computing aesthetic that feels appropriately on-brand for a community that’s been kicking around since the dialup days. CRT monitor energy.

Warning: once you click on it, the avatar animation goes away for the year, but you can still access your Rewind from your user menu afterward.
And if year-end retrospectives aren’t your thing, you can disable it entirely in your preferences at /my/preferences/rewind.
