the new time travel institute

i had a cool idea and i would like to share.

why dont we, as a community, create an actual school called time travel institute?

we could have temporal degrees and temporal engineers out in the world! people could then be prepared and certified to TT, once technology permits. it would bring good revenue to the site, and it would bring tti into the public eye alot more, even possibly media interests.

i was just thinking about how we as a community could get research into time travel started. right now, theres pretty much no time travel research. we could be the first to get funding and get the ball rolling.

what are the steps that we, as a community, would take in creating this?

lets at least lay the foundation.

Step 1 - Start a campaign to convince people that time travel is the "greenest" form of travel there is. We need to show that not only does TT not release CO2 (set to be marked as a toxic gas by the new administration), but that TT actually consumes CO2, thereby making the world safe for socialism...errr.. Democracy.

That first step should be enough to tap into some of that "green funding" just passed in the stimulus bill. :D

I love Bruce Willis. I knew way back in his Moonlighting days that he was gonna be big.

Regarding your idea, it is an interesting novelty idea. But I am afraid it would take a lot of money and a lot more work. And I fear it would be really difficult to attract or qualify for monetary investment based on what is on this site...especially if potential benefactors were to read the posts of Zeshua Novak, HDRKID, and timeline_39.

everytime i think of you, i think of that movie for some reason.

...especially if potential benefactors were to read the posts of Zeshua Novak, HDRKID, and timeline_39.

yeah, guess your right about that. i just wish we could get the ball rolling and at least get SOMETHING started.

People can't teach what they don't know.

People can't teach what they don't know.

You mean 'Dictate'?
There's a difference between an exchange of ideas - more akin to mutual guidance given to learning, yes learning ! even if you don't know it all, you can still help others come to greater awareness and understanding about said variable, Imagine that!

RMT will have alot of fun with this thread methinks...

...
Before man sailed across the ocean...did he learn how to build a boat? Eghads!

Memorization will only get you so far origin...
Thinking outside the box requires much different skills.

RMT - according to the above post I guess Origin would assume you don't know much about speed measurement, physics of light, and the ideas behind Quantum mechanics...

Disregarding that, I still look forward to 'learning' something from reading here...
Teach on !

P.S.
Even when Carl Jung was chairman of the International Psychoanalytical Association, did he ever tell Freud when he vastly disagreed - that 'he couldn't teach what he didn't know' ?

- In my eyes Freud is given too much credit - when Jung was ahead of his time.
Literally.

People can't teach what they don't know.

heres a rude awakening: there would be no knowledge in this world if that were true. everything you have ever learned, came from another person, and that person learned from another, and the first person to teach a certain thing is called a pioneer. a trailblazer if you will.

this is about the evolution of knowledge and the push to get the locomotive rolling.

...and if that 'aint enough for ya, think of the song, amazing grace.

"i once was blind, but now i see. for grace amazed me."
