I've had half a thought to that extent, because some songs are so significant in terms of harmonics and linguistics that they would be readily recognizable across any gulf of spacetime. Indeed, there's a possibility that certain songs could be used as a rudimentary code, allowing for spatio-temporal transport in the same vein as a phone number can be used to reach a certain party, those songs being tied to our sense and race memories. :D
