This forum is by far, the most intelligent and a great source to learn from what ordinary people in real life would really discuss about. I haven't been replying but have been reading the posts in the recent months and have found it most educating until chronohistorian started posting. Now it isn't really his fault that he tries to be a time traveller, many people do. What I'm starting to dislike is that this forum is morally, well, detioriating. I have been noticing ridiculous people making useless posts that does not really seem very healthy or educating at all. People start posting rubbish and we seem to swerve off-topic what is really important in this forum, the essesence of scientific time travel, thats what I and I believe most other people are here for. I assume the moderators here will retain our glorious forum's time travel topic and resume what has been, the learning of time travel. Thank you.

I used to agree with you, until a few days ago. I was upset with Chronohistorian and why the mod wouldn't just ban his TT "butt" off the board.

Then I realized that it wasn't Chrono's or the Mod's fault...It was ours. We let this termite (I call him a termite because he eats at the foundation of the board and causes it to collapse) get to us. Chrono enjoys this and continues to post without breaking the TOS.

Now, using an exterminator's logic on termites: You can either exterminate them or make it so that they have nothing to feed off of. Chrono will have nothing to feed off of if no one posts to him and we ignore his posts. If we are vigilant he will leave.

Now, it might seem mean and cruel to do this to a fellow board member. But frankly, what he (we) have done to the board is much worse.

Our moderators are being fair actually, Chronohistorian may have a poor grasp of basic english but he sticks to us like cornflour. He feeds on our daily dose of replies and tries to pull us back to his 'mission'. I realized I was in the part of feeding questions to him. But the fact that the inate desire of talking to a REAL time traveller thrives and in us and nevertheless, we question him, bunk him and with a slightest bit of hope he is for real. But another side of us are mean, tough individuals who feed him impossible questions to get him to expose himself, or so the pleasure we derive. So actually, many will deny this. So maybe, in fair justice, let's have another vote or a referendum to kick out who shouldn't be here. Agreed? After all, we are all here to learn and ask questions.

sosuemetoo-I am not doing anything wrong. you just take some of my posts (hitler for example) far too seriously.
I haven't broken a rule yet and if I had don't you think the admin would have banned me by now.

Well, the vote didn't work well the last time. And, as far as I know (since I've ignored everything Chrono and Chrono himself) he hasn't broken the rules. This puts the Mod in a bad situation. A hostile group egging on someone we want to leave, that someone doesn't want to leave and thrives on the attention, and that someone getting close but never breaking the rules.

The mod posted a few days back regarding this and ignoring trolls. I'm hopeful that by all of us ignoring all trolls, we will once again go back to normal. I do understand your frustration, though.

The fact that you broke nothing doesn't mean we are willing to listen to you. Most of us aren't even interested in your nonsense, it would be best if you leave and plague other forums instead. You are blocking our road of learning. For now, I'm ignoring you and your blatant lies.

I can assure you that this has been tried before. Chrono does not understand politeness and decency. He only wants you to pay attention to him so that he can watch the hostility that takes place.

This is one problem that if you ignore it, it will go away.

Thanks for your understanding. I still regret that the situation has gotten out of hand and I particularily regret RainmanTime's departure. There's not much I can do against chrono, since he's not doing anything wrong. Obviously he's one of the worst hoaxers ever to roam the face of this planet, but as long as he sticks to the rules of the board I have no valid argument to ban him. Siegmund clearly crossed the line at some point and I must say that he left us no option.

I sympathise with you. There is not much you can do but follow the rules. In the end, the members of this board will respect you for the approach you have taken. I apologise if I criticized you for not taking action earlier. I understand you have rules to follow.

I just hope that Chrono leaving happens sooner than later.

He's a really bad hoaxer, and he goes on pretending. I wonder what keeps him so enthusiastic on leading us like that. It's been a month or two I guess, but oh well he's just being annoying. I just hope that he gets sick of his roleplaying and leave this forum for good. Admitedly, most of us including me were at fault for feeding him to patronise this forum, which is our second home to most of us here. I apologise too, that your plight does not allow you to ban him. You have our utmost support.
