Continuum is a four-season Canadian science fiction television series developed by Simon Barry that began on Showcase on May 27, 2012. Reunion Pictures, Boy Meets Girl Film Company, and Shaw Media produced it. The plot revolves around a conflict between a group of terrorists from the year 2077 who time travel to Vancouver, British Columbia, in 2012 and an unwittingly accompanying police officer. Even though it is many years in the future, the terrorist group resolves to continue its violent campaign to prevent corporations from replacing governments. At the same time, the police officer attempts to stop them without exposing to everyone that she and the terrorists are from the future.
