This was, in my opinion, Bill Murray's 3rd-best film, after What About Bob? (1991) and Ghostbusters (1984). I remember this film being pretty funny, but it was nowhere near as hilarious as What About Bob?(.) Notes
The overview of this comedy found here states that it was one of the highest grossing films of 1993 with around $105 million (I'm assuming that's the U.S./Canada gross).
Having said the above, I know the rest of this is off-topic, but I might as well give another preview of some alternate histories I plan on converting to reality. The first two Nicktoon animated films also come out in 1993: the first Rugrats movie (July 7) and the first Ren & Stimpy movie (November 19). The Rugrats film makes over $190 million in the U.S. and Canada, while the Ren & Stimpy one makes over $175 million in those territories. That would make these two animated films exceed Groundhog Day in movie theater gross!
Speaking about What About Bob?, my favorite Bill Murray film, that movie is reported to have grossed around $63.7 million in theaters (likely in the U.S./Canada). But in my revised/alternate history, it will gross more than $202 million in the U.S. and Canada. I know that What About Bob? isn't related to time travel at all, but anyone who reads this should check it out if he/she hasn't already. No spam/advertising intended.
