Loki is an American television series created by Michael Waldron for the Disney+ streaming service, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is the third television series produced by Marvel Studios in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and it shares continuity with the franchise's films. The series picks up after the events of the 2019 film Avengers: Endgame, in which an alternate version of Loki created a new timeline. Waldron was the show's first season's head writer. Kate Herron directed it, with Eric Martin and the duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead serving as the show's second season's head writer and directing team.
