Looking for John Titor

Paula,

Go back and read the posts. By that I don't mean read Pamela's posts that she attributes to Titor. I mean read the posts made by TTO and JT. There's really not much there. It's 142 posts. Take away all the "I don't care if you believe me" quibbling crap posts. What's left?

If I believe your CV that you include in your profile then you have a solid physical science background. Toss out all of the Titor shit and just look at the facts that he posted. When looking at the facts toss out his amazing brain exposition that "E = mc^2" and "ds^2 = sqrt (-ct^2 + x^2 + y^2 + z^2)" college introductory relativistic physics and ask yourself, "Did he actually say anything that we don't already know?" Look deeper than the surface. Look at the topics being discussed on the forums during and for a year before he started posting. Was there really anything new or even original?

I'd rather look at all the interesting books that are related to the topic.

You're at it again - giving half an answer to a legitimate question and extending it to the general answer.

Not "some" but all matter has an Index of Refraction. If you can "see" it, i.e. the stuff interacts with light, then it has an Index of Refraction. When looking at stellar lensing that is taken into account. That's half the answer because it does not account for the total lensing. General Relativity accounts for the otherwise unaccounted for portion of the curvature of the light. This is the science as taught in the schools that I attended.

You're always referring to what is taught in school and getting it wrong. Where the heck did you go to school where they taught this nonsense?

I will agree that what is taught in school is mostly nonsense.

But apparently Edward Dowdye and I were were taught that it was the curvature of space-time according to Einstein that was responsible for the bending of light around the sun. The curvature of space-time being what is referred to as gravity in my posts. There was no mention of any atmospheric plasma contributing to any lensing effect in my physics course. Edward Dowdye is the first to introduce me to the atmospheric plasma lensing idea. I did post a video to a lecture he gives on gravitational lensing in an above post. I suspect you haven't listened to it. Give it a go. It is a lecture. And some of it is boring. But that's the way lectures are.

Also I wanted to point out that there does appear to be a difference in what you were taught as opposed to what I was taught. Which is kind of odd. Don't you think the same knowledge should be handed down from generation to generation? My physics education was over 40 years ago. I'm assuming yours was more recent.

My point: If we can create plasma and it can bend light, then could we not create a picture similar to the one Titor posted?

A picture was created using a fiber optic cable as I recall. Although I suppose a long curved glass tube filled with electrified Neon gas could be used to make the picture too. But Titor led us all to believe it was caused by the gravity from the micro black-holes.

Here is a picture of a laser pen with a fiber optic cable attached bending a light beam.

I no longer focus on the posts. Evidence lies elsewhere and does not require a physics degree to find.

That is not evidence, Paula. Unless you are using "evidence" in a way that would not pass muster in a court of law. Those posts are all the evidence there is about TT0, and as Darby pointed out, the ones posted by Pamela cannot even be considered evidence, as in a court of law a competent attorney would object to them as "assuming facts not in evidence."

Also might wish to review "best evidence rule".

Howe can we not be sure that Pamela was not part of the whole John Titor crew/group?

Frankly, by reading her posts. Not just the Titor related posts but all of them starting circa 1998. She just didn't have the right stuff as a writer.

Is it likely that she was manipulated into became a part of Group Titor? In a way, yes. She had an "open mind", meaning that it was closed tight and hermetically sealed against any real skepticism, rational analysis or willingness to honestly contemplate that that she was being had. She wanted to be a, if not the, center of attention and direct the debate through off-line contact with our would-be time travelers which gave her the opportunity to parse the conversations and parcel out the contents. She started down that path fours after Titor's first post on this site. In fact the very first "Titor" post that had any information in it wasn't posted by Titor. It was taken from a purported email exchange between them and posted by Pamela.

Go back and look at the sort of questions she would ask. They tended to fall into the "what is your favorite flavor color" puff piece inquiry. It wasn'y just with Titor - it was with every wannabe TT.

Then perhaps "Titor" used plasma in his technology. Everyone is too hung up on gravity.

This is where you make the mistake in "no longer focus[ing] on the posts." No one is "hung up" on gravity. The posts, at least the ones that he actually posted, are his own words. Titor said that his gadget functioned via gravitational warping of spacetime by utilizing "micro blackholes". The scenario that he posed was silly science at best but at least he tried to loosely stick to General Relativity. General Relativity is a theory of gravity.

So, no, he didn't propose a plasma generator to open wormholes in spacetime. Suggesting plasma as a source of his time machine is wishful thinking based on a personal bias that shares no nexus with his posts.

If you want to run the numbers you can. So you recreate the lensing effect of the limb of the sun. How much does the sun bend light via gravitational lensing? About 1.7 arc-seconds, ~.0005 degrees. The solar surface gravity is ~30g.

Titor's magic light beam is bent through over 90 degrees of arc. That's about 5.4 million g. And cigar smoking (hint) Fat Fingers isn't crushed out of existence, his Corvette isn't crushed out of existence and no light other than the magic beam is affected by the twin black holes' gravitational field. Magic is the operant word here because it isn't physics. It was an amateurish attempt at graphical proof of concept by Titor. His opinion of the intelligence, education and knowledge of typical posters on sites like this is reflected in the use of the photo as evidence.

Regardless of the physics of Tesla-Biefeld-Brown, Google "The 5 ringu have landed". How did Titor know Tokyo would host the next Summer Olympics? How did John know that the Olympics was cancelled because of natural and man-made disaster?

Just curious where he said this. I can't find it.

So, Ren, I may have uncovered your friend. Does he drive a black SUV by chance? Nice townhouse, btw.
(Gotta love Google maps).

Also, folks, read about Barrett Titor:

I'm interested in the fact that Tesla was mentioned, but I'm biased. :)

Barrett says the stock market will crash this quarter.

I had a look at the Barrett Titor page, and did a lil research. Seems like there is no digital evidence of the site existing prior to 2013. So all that malarky about posts being made in 2009 & 2010 etc are false dates. I must also add that we only have another couple of weeks until Q1 comes to an end, and there are no signs of a market crash.

My own personal conclusion: the page is a hoax.

Don't guess. Go to Google and type "The 5 Ringu have landed."

There you will see a post date with the name John Titor that predates the decision that Japan will host the Olympics next. Don't forget the quotes.

I expect slow people not to get the reference. I expect more out of you all on TTI.

Furthermore, my Tweet about today's Big Bang discovery is in relation to saying there are things that travel faster than light. ren1999 @ twitter

I have put that quote "The 5 Ringu have landed" through a couple of search engines, and cannot find where John Titor has said jack! The google search engine led me to your site (Ren1999 website) and to GLP site. No sign of a John Titor post anywhere. In fact, if "Titor" did say those words, they should be retained in the archives of this particular forum (and of course they are not). But yeah, "The 5 Ringu have landed" is a nice ploy to direct traffic to your site.
