Yes, another Hitler thread by me.

The link tells us a story about this woman who found some "evidence" to support that.

I'm very skeptical myself about everything, but this one sounds really plausible to me. Amazing even. It would be very funny if that man was really Adolf Hitler, married to a black south-american woman. I kinda want this to be true, just for that small fact.

If I have time later on, I'll post a link for the original news in portuguese with its translation. It has more detailed information.

Awesome!

I've heard this theory before, but it was focused on his escape to Argentina... It was a book called Grey Wolf:

I've not read it yet, but I do have it.

I don't see a link anywhere on that article to get the book they're talking about... I can't even find it on Amazon! If anyone knows where to get it, go ahead and link us up :D

Yeah, the argentinian theory is very popular. But this woman has found some "evidence" about an old german guy living in a remote city in Brazil, during the eighties. One of the cool things she mentions is the fact that this man once suffered an accident with a truck and went to the hospital. There, a polish nun/nurse recognized him and said things like "I won't treat this man! He's a mass murderer!". Then the headmaster of the hospital who was also a priest (catholic hospital probably) told her to admit the man, by orders of the Vatican.I just love a good old conspiracy

Compare that photo to an original photo of Hitler. Check the ears. Ears reveal all. If they don't match, it's not Hitler.
Forgive my skepticism, but how qualified are you to afirm that? I mean, is that a matter of fact or just a matter of your opinion? Do you have any forensics background?Maybe there are some natural events that could lead to a shrinkage of the ears? Or maybe their enlargement? I don't know...

Anyway, did you compare the ears? I'm on my phone right now and it is surprinsingly difficult to compare ears on an iPhone lol

Paulajedi;
I'm mean no offense but I must correct this statement. You have made it a few times before. I don't know where you picked up this idea but the ears and the nose continue to grow for a lifetime. Our ears continue to grow, more so in men than women, an average 0.22 mm a year. That's not a whole lot but, after 40 years, that's 8.8 mm, just over 1/3 inch.

I tend to analyze things before I believe them. I call myself a skeptical believer. I believe in some conspiracies, aliens, ghosts, etc., but I do not believe everything I see or read right off the bat, so basically, I'd need more proof before I was able to instantly believe that was a photo of Hitler. I would definitely consider the opinion of a forensic specialist, but does anybody here know one?

Oh, I agree with you. I'm not claiming that's a photo of Hitler, I just reported something I read. I wish it was real though, lol.

I just questioned you "authority" on ear analysis because you sounded very certain that they are the new DNA testing. :D

I assure you, it will not be the ears that will prove that woman wrong. There are way more data for that.

Well, the U.S. government requires that one ear be shown in passport photos.

Never heard that one before. I would assume (based on my photography background) that is because if the ear is showing then the face is in the right position for the image to be positively identified. If the ear is not showing then the face is in the wrong position which makes it difficult to do a positive identification and someone else can impersonate another. I don't know... I could be wrong. Just a theory.

Yeah, well, they also requires both eyes, nose, neck and chin to be on it.

(5) Head Position: The photograph must be clear with a centered, full frontal

view of the applicants facial image. The head must not be tilted (ICAO

9303 Section IV, Appendix 11, 1.3). The ears do not have to be visible.

PS. One doesn't necessarily need to be a forensic specialist to have an opinion worthy of consideration or acceptance as correct.

Basically, you told me I had to be a forensic specialist in order to have an opinion about ears.
The ears had to be visible when I first met my husband years ago. I guess that changed. We had to have an ear showing and I had to put my hair back a little. I still have the passport if you would like to verify my claim, but it's a horrible photo of me.

Not at all. I was simply correcting your statement and offered the proof of my correction, as I try to always do. When something I say is just my own opinion, I usually point that out too. I meant no offense and stated that.

Hey Paula, I think what Gpa tried to say is the same as I did. You said that if the ears don't match, then it's no game. Period.
All we questioned was that the ears might not be the ultimate truth on identifying people. The way you wrote it, sounded like you were pretty sure someone's ears won't change over the years no matter what. That's why I asked if you knew that based on experience or it was just an opinion. :)

I've heard all kinds of theories on Hitler and his kids. Whether or not they are true, who is to say. I do know that he is no longer a threat to the world so it really does not matter. He was a sad pathetic little man who did not know is butt from a hole in the ground and killed billions of innocent people. He was a monster.
