Masons struggle with racial separation

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Masons, the storied fraternal order whose members have included Mozart, George Washington and John Wayne, has become entwined across the Deep South with the remnants of another tradition in these parts: strict segregation.

Nationwide, Masonic groups operate in a separate-but-supposedly-equal system in which whites typically join one network of Masonic groups, called Grand Lodges, and blacks typically join another, called Prince Hall.

But in the South, it goes further: White-controlled Grand Lodges in 12 Southern states do not even officially recognize black Masons as their brothers — the Masonic term is "mutual recognition" — and in some cases, black lodges have taken similar stands.

Prince Hall... Never heard of these guys... These Masons are everywhere!!! :)

Nobody can believe a conspiracy of black Masons. Most of these conspiracies seem to involve middle aged males who are (to quote Procul Harem) "a paler shade of white."

Can this be whitey trying to retain control of a world expanding beyond him?

Actually, I am sort of leaning toward Bob Dobbs and the Church of the SubGenius because Bob is shown smoking a long pipe.I ask you--just your gut feeling--is a god that smokes a pipe going to doom you to eternal punishment?

Not likely until you have a heart-to-heart discussion and "get Straight." So if it's a choice between Moses and Dobbs I would have to go with Dobbs.
