Near-Death Experiences (NDEs)

Has there previously been discussion at TTI about Near-Death Experiences?
Have you had a NDE?
One related to a TTI administrator’s said set of “dreams” follows.

KerrTexas:
My very first post here on TTI was about a dream involving Time Travel. I stepped into a machine and seemed to be transported to the past. In the dream, the details of workings the machine were clear, and I remember that it did something with the energy system's of the physical body to synchronize it with the past's energy signature. I tried my hardest to recall exactly "how" the machine worked, but, just can't remember.

In another dream, as a seemingly follow-up to the first, was a super advanced computer in the distant future that controlled everything. I do remember the computer had large cylinders that contained some sort of primordial soup that it used for its memory functions. Using nano(bio)bot type technology, it was capable of sending out "roots" to combine with the roots of the vegetation, using the photosynthesis of the plants as its energy source.

What’s more, part of it ties into a recurrent theme of his threads,
e.g. one of unknown many in regard to => indigenous people.
I was, at first, loath to describe the correlations, because I’m bent
upon somehow distancing myself from those whom control this
grossly materialistic world. However, as I deem certain states of
being beyond nefarious designs, I’ll contemplate an acceptable
version of the NDE, A Place of Unknown Interface, to post herein.

Foreword

What KerrTexas perceived as a time machine with an “energy
system,” I experienced as a state of being. Where he dreamt a
computer “capable of sending out ‘roots’ to combine with the
roots of the vegetation,” I preliminarily experienced a sphere
where one can tap the energy of exotic plants as a means of
reaching the above state of being. That state of being led me to
a place of unknown interface. All three (the state of being,
sphere and place of unknown interface) I experienced directly
along with, ironically enough, a scout.

A Place of Unknown Interface

It would be a month after I was revived from a coma before I
would remember the day of my weather-related accident, wherein
I alone was injured. It would be years later before I would next
recall a single dream. Yet, within that time I would have the
distinct impression of my having discovered strange isles of
light where one island of light was means to another island
of light ...&c.

What I would view as isles of light were initially but sporadic
spots of light between blackness. The darkness didn’t frighten me.
So welcome was its quiet restfulness that I could have slept forever.

A light would stir me, then I’d drift back into unconsciousness.
Sometimes my drifting felt more like my being transported.
The motion only more lulled me until the first island of light
came into focus. Unbearable pain caused me to black out.

I gradually found myself seemingly spotlighted while studying
foliage. The plant life was out of this world! Therein immersed,
I was suddenly alarmed by another presence. My being startled
by the aforementioned scout jolted me.

Feeling as though I flew away to safety, I again slept a while
undercover of darkness. I next awoke on another island of light
with symbolic offerings spread before me. An audience of a few
individuals indicated that I should choose one. Noticing the scout
amongst them, I chose the symbol of the mythological character
that I continue to find most fascinating.

The spectators glanced at one another. One moment I was
wondering whether they approved of my choice and the next
instant I was flying again and loving it. I lighted on a few more
islands, saw the scout and took off again.

I rested and, once more, awoke in a place with no interface
where I was instructed in a classroom setting. Afterward, the
scout tricked me into coming to this multiverse. I did not want
to come here, but he said,

“It’s another island of light. You can leave whenever you want.”

Edit: Scratch the last sentence?
Maybe it was I who forgot gravity.

You weirdo, there's no such thing as NDE's. Kerr's post about energy signatures sounds like impedance matching though.
Being that people around here seem to prefer weird
over ultra-conservative, I'll take that as a compliment.

If you can call me a weirdo, I can call your girlfriend
a potato head--she dropped you, because you're just a
common tater*.

*If English isn't your native language, that was a triple pun
on potatoes being referred to as 'taters,' Dick Tater's handle
being a homonym of dictator and the word commentator.

Oh, that hurts. And all this time I thought she found me a-peeling. :p

Te-he.

Dick, I know your type.
Your mention of "impending matching"
is an impending discussion of the complex conjugate,
but NOT IN THE PRESENCE OF A LADY!

'Dictator,' fond of the B52s, the Titors claim,
you're [a lemon] in your own private idaho
living in your own private idaho
wa! on the ground like a wild potato.”

I believe the part about the potato, Tater. However,
I contend, “It is the Titors who are from Planet Claire.
Whereas they suspect Idrove a Plymouth Satellite
Faster than the speed of light[,]” I think it where
they are from that “No one has a head.”

'Tater' et al,

Pardon my childish sense of humor.

Truly, that NDE was weird.
It was unusual in that that NDE was inconsistent
with my both belief system and cultural experience.
Live, and learn to trust in God.

0 : - ) His will be done.

Humor is the only thing that makes sense in this universe, or whatever you call it. Laugh when you can, because the crying times are too often and unbearable when they come.

Do you remember anything from your coma, or was your NDE during that?

Clowning isn't to be taken seriously.

Speaking of extraordinary experiences is difficult, as
we tend to define everything in conventional terms.

For example:
Described as a classroom was a learning environment
that I choose to leave nondescript. Setting wasn't my
focus then and isn't now. Remarkable is the fact that
my instructors were children. I could have gleefully
remained beholden to cherubs as superiors, only that
I knew my time in that place occasioned.

It was my honor.

Hence, the ambiguous ending on the subject NDE
signaled that I wasn’t tricked into returning to “this
multiverse.” Why? Blaming is a cowardly means of
shirking responsibility.

Whereas we can only hope to be brave when faced
with a formidable challenge, the entity who I
perceived as a scout was so meticulously dutiful as to
conceivably be incorruptible...

So, in finding a concise answer to your question, parts of
the NDE may have coincided with my lying in a ditch,
being life-flighted to a trauma center and having to undergo
surgery ASAP minus any anesthesia (when more than pain
might have been killed).
