A country called Taured no longer exists, but Wikipedia still redirect the term "Taured" to Andorra.

Taured

Is there someone who can help me figure out who and why the word Taured auto-refers to Andorra? What is the history of this specific edit? I will return periodically to see if I have received a response. 67.250.100.204 (talk) 03:25, 16 August 2013 (UTC)

Discrepancies

I notice a discrepancy in the entry for Andorra in List of current heads of state and government. That gives Antoni Martí's title as Head of Government, but the Andorra article says Prime Minister. When we look at his biographical article, we find that he is shown as the "6th Prime Minister". Interestingly, that article gives further details on the co-heads of state, listing Joan Enric Vives Sicília as the Episcopal Co-prince and Nicholas Sarkozy as the French Co-prince, whereas List of current heads of state and government calls them merely "co-princes" and shows François Hollande instead.
Perhaps we could get all this information sorted out so that there are no discrepancies and readers are not confused? --Pete (talk) 20:17, 17 June 2013 (UTC)

One time slip traveller of Taured origin is recorded in history.

On July 1954, A man arrives at Tokyo airport in Japan. He’s of Caucasian appearance and conventional-looking. But the officials are suspicious.

On checking his passport, they see that he hails from a country called Taured. The passport looked genuine, except for the fact that there is no such country as Taured.

The man is interrogated, and asked to point out where his country supposedly exists on a map. He immediately points his finger towards the Principality of Andorra, but becomes angry and confused. He’s never heard of Andorra, and can’t understand why his homeland of Taured isn’t there. According to him it should have been, for it had existed for more than 1,000 years!

Customs officials found him in possession of money from several different European currencies. His passport had been stamped by many airports around the globe, including previous visits to Tokyo. Baffled, they took him to a local hotel and placed him in a room with two guards outside until they could get to the bottom of the mystery.

The company he claimed to work for had no knowledge of him, although he had copious amounts of documentation to prove his point. The hotel he claimed to have a reservation for had never heard of him either. The company officials in Tokyo he was there to do business with? Yup, you’ve guessed it – they just shook their heads too.

Later, when the hotel room he was held in was opened, the man had disappeared. The police established that he could not have escaped out of the window – the room was several floors up, and there was no balcony.

He was never seen again, and the mystery was never solved.

It seems you are not very apt when it comes to reading. I never said I chatted with you; I said I remembered a discussion. If I chatted with you, of course you wouldn't remember. And, put me back in my padded cell? I'm already a Doctor.

Did JDT get banned (again - I think it would be the third of fourth time)? I'm thinking that the final two letters in his initials are a simple shift code J, <D, >T. JDT = JCS. Javier S Cortez aka TimeTravelActivist and TTA who was banned the last time about 10 years ago.

Yes, that does seem to be the case. It appears he believes he is John Titor. Really! Which was my whole point for addressing the schizophrenia angle.

I'm not a doctor but maybe you are quite possibly right. I am sure he is not a time traveller though which is more important!

Darby mentioned that JDT may have been a member from a few years back; I believe Darby to be correct. Don't know if he was Javier, however, do believe he was a past member who posted on the previous, older TTI site. I wouldn't be surprised if whoever JDT is returns at some point with a new screen name, and begins posting again ( if he isn't already ).

A reminder why it is important NOT to post personal information ( like email addresses or Facebook account details ) where "anyone" can read it. There are people out there who may attempt ( and sometimes succeed ) to use the information with ill intent.

I.E., "abrakabrainferna " publicly posted their email address, and got banned when his/her account was hi-jacked by JDT.
