Ron Mallett news?

Anyone here know anything new on Ron Mallett and his plans to build a time machine? I last heard that he's looking for a quarter of a million dollars to get his project started but thats all I heard.

I've done some searches on his site and it seems theres been nothing said since then.

Anyone here know of any new news with this guy if there is any.

Last I heard was a paper from several scientists stating that Ron Mallet's time machine is not feasable....and that there are several fundamental flaws in the logic behind it.

Mallet's idea to create 'frame dragging' in the lab is kinda similar to all the 'cold fusion' attempts. Frame dragging is normally associated with the huge energies associated with a rotating black hole. Creating it in the lab is based on a neat mathematical trick.....but there's no evidence that the mathematics is sound, or that it converts to reality.
