Music review, Lisa Loebs, "I Do"
I loved this song by Lisa.
This tune, well sung in a dainty fashion, is very feminine.This singing reflects all that is Lisa, being young, indecisive, a young woman.
This ballad in fact, represents all young wimen and what they go through in being themselves.
I loved it, because it shows the vulnerability, however the resourcefulness, when your love life goes on trash and you must pull something great, out of nothing.
Lisa waltzes through this, brilliantly within her demi-wordings.
In fact, Lisa could win with lyrics, utilizing the words as, stinkers or fiddle-sticks and still come out ahead.
The matching background for the song, is almost done in iambic pentameter, with a medium noted guitar sting pluckedThis mew note, gives a returning, repeating, value of intensity, to the song.
She says in almost a talking voice these first sets of lines> when i'm done with thinking, then i'm done with you.
when i'm done with crying, then i'm done with you.
when i feel so tired, then i'm done with you./
This is all to a crisp background drum accompaniment, which is almost a cadence snare style of drum.A bit on the lite side, surface, but pushes the song.
Lisa says, next> everybody feels this way sometimes, everybody feels this way/
I like this and what she is saying, or trying to express, is that everyone, besides herself, does at times, feel like crap.
What is delightful is the addition of> and i do.

This part she shows a certain skill, a pettiness, which mildly rocks into the listener's muse.
Great song Lisa, as it gets into the heart of everyone, who appreciates wimen, in their innocents and the need, of just being themselves.
This is a lovely song, a mantra, as it expresses what young wimen are about, in their bopping ways.
This tune does not belabor the point and gets into that little chart list, of songs people seem to hum all day.
Rated the song three out of a possible five, as I don't think that Lisa is quite done with producing brilliant, pieces of music,
She could even pull a Carol King and write music for others.
Good piece of music, as this shows what Lisa Loeb is about and in a very great measure, a denim, anklets tirade.
