Vallisica Ax Murder House
The Villisca Ax Murder House occured between night of June 9 1912 and early morning of June 10 in the town of Villisica,Iowa U.S 6 family members and 2 friends were found dead all 8 victims including 6 children had head wounds from an ax leading to a long investigation with 7 suspects the first trial ended of Hung jery and the second trial ended in acquittal the Moore family contained parents of Josiah.B and Sarah and there 4 children were Herman,Mary,Arthur and Paul the Moores were well liked in there community on June 9 1912 Mary invited Ina Mae and Lena Stillinger they spent the night at the Moores house the girls arrived at 9:45 or 10:00 at 7 am the Moores neighbor Mary Peckham became concerned that the Moore family didn't come out for there morning chores so like any normal person she knocked on the door no one answered she tried opening the door but it was locked Mary let the Moores chickens out and called Ross Moore [Josiahs brother] Ross came and knocked on the door and shouted still just like Mary no response Ross opened the back door with the replica of the key he went to the guest room and found Ina and Lena on the bed dead he immediately told Mary to call Henry Hank Horton [an officer for Villisca town] Hank arrived shortly reviling the whole Moore family and Ina and Lena had been murdered with Josiah.B's ax doctors concluded that the murder happened around 5 am they went to the attic and found 2 used cigarettes turns out the murderer has ben patiently waiting for the right minute he went to the master bedroom first and out of all victims Josiah got the most hits his face was split and his eyes were missing the ceiling Also had the blunt marks the killer used the sharp side for Sarah the 4 Moore children were hit in the head with the blunt side 5 times he returned to the master bedroom to get more hits knocking over a boot full of blood before going to the guest detectives found 4lbs of bacon and bloody water the found Mary Moore wearing no underwear proves that the murderer got dirty with Marys dead bodie THE END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
