September 2024

Pamela,

I cannot delve too deep into procedure, however as far as "recognition" at DARPA, the safehouse is a solitary area and I have no direct contact with anyone.

Wow, this is a dark dilemma you have created! We do have guidelines for a number of situations should they occur such as a malfunction that prevents a traveler from returning, however I am not able to provide you that information.

My location is not known to anyone.

The path which we travel is such that we arrive at a predetermined area within the safehouse.

We have no reason to "need" protection, however travelers are equipped with a number of items.

I spoke briefly abut the paths we take during travel. The answer is yes, the unit's departure and return areas are the same.

Regarding the "expectation" of arrival, I also mentioned this briefly earlier. The safehouse was created so that there would be no indication of a traveler being present when it is in use. Once again, I have no direct contact with anyone while here.

PeterPanParadox,

I am aware of the difficulties being faces by the US economy in this time, however once again, I have already said some specifics about what the future holds and can tell you that the "NAU" and "Amero" never happen.

Lyndzee,

You mean you did not know about a train wreck over last weekend in Los Angels? Do you watch the news?

I would like more info on what happens in the more recent future, besides the election.

Also.
I was wondering. What happens if mission control in 2026 sends back a time traveler to 2009 to the safe house and in the exact same spot 2036 sends back a time traveler to 2009 in the exact same spot? They both arrive at the same time in the exact same spot. what happens?

Pamela,

The safehouse was built by the US government soon after official work on time travel began (in the early 80s to be a little more specific). The scientists at the time felt it would be prudent to have a setup ready for any future travelers to use.

EricCarr1,

I am able to watch news programs, yes. Your statement about wanting to know more events in the future is very broad. Do you have a specific topic?

And no curious scientist ever checks it for signs that one had arrived?
Did anyone ever think to leave them a little thank-you note? /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Pamela,

I would hope that they stick to their jobs and don't come check up on me! The safehouse is to be monitored and upgraded by visits twice yearly.

I never thought of leaving them a note, but while I am sure that would be interesting for them, who is to say they are not anonymously visiting this forum and already know I am here?

Lyndzee,

I don´t believe in fate so I believe the future or time-line you are from is one of infinite possibilities. If what you say our future holds turns out true then all the best for some. I will frequent your thread and pick at your brain like a madman, but now I must sleep.

See you in the future.

P.S. You may want to look into the N.A.U, and the Amero; news articles and/or wiki, your choice.

Joel,

Muchisimas gracias, amigo!

Don't worry about your English. You're doing quite well communicating in English. If you have any problems just write it in English and parenthetically restate it in Spanish. There are enough of here who speak Spanish to be able to get your meaning correct.

And you're not the only member here who writes English as a second language. We have people from all over the world posting.

In any case thank you for your membership, thoughts and posts.

Once again, ITI's time travel project is NOT a Top Secret project such as the Manhattan Project was. We do release successes and new discoveries and the first two travelers are "known" just as Lance Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were when they returned from the moon.

Lance Armstrong road a bicycle to the moon!?!

Lyndzee_Grummond

What does your departure and arrival
look like inside and outside of the
time machine. Is it like Star Trek
transporter. lol

Lyndzee,

Being that Confidential is the bottom-of-the-barrel clearance

Maybe you should provide us the actual definition of Top Secret, Secret and Confidential. I would help in the discussion.

Lyndzee,

also collecting information regarding a foreign country

And this is the point that I made before and which you not-so-deftly tried to shuffle off to Buffalo.

The technology is military in nature and no matter how you try to paint it it will be perceived as a threat to some "have-not" nation. Somehow your story has gone from your being a DIrector of DARPA to being an intelligence operative collecting tactical and/or strategic information concerning another nation...and publishing your intentions on the Internet.

Sure, you didn't mention any particular nation by name. But that only serves to exaccerbate the situation. Now every have-not nation is put on notice that it might be they who are the target of the intelligence operation.

I think that upon your return you just might find a pink slip in your locker. I know that if I was your handler you'd be out...and I've terminated a few in my day.

All I can say is your responses are laughable. Using language that others will more than likely not understand in order to try and paint a false portrait of me will not work.

This is your drama. And I am pretty sure I know it does not matter whether others understand the language or not. What matters are those references I gave you. They are real. If you signed an SF 312 then you agreed to OpSec procedures, not to mention Title 18 of the CFR. Both the Title 18 CFR and the Executive Order I referenced are available for anyone and everyone to read on the internet. It is clear from your actions that you do not understand their ramifications with respect to what you agreed to in your SF 312. THAT is what matters here, not what others may or may not understand.

Don't presume to tell me how to do my job.

As an employee of DoD (esp. in such a high position as you claim), security is your job, and that includes OpSec (especially if you are a field operative). I am not telling you your job, but I am reminding you of your obligations with regard to your SF 312. Furthermore, I am reminding you of MY obligations with respect to my SF 312 agreement! Do you know what that means for my job?

I do not know if this is coming from you because you feel you have some sort of inside knowledge superioir to my own, or because I am a woman in a position of power, but I will not continue with these petty arguements on who is higher up. Either way, I would come out on top.

You are terribly confused, as it has absolutely nothing to do with hierarchy. Are you aware that I, a "lowly" DoD contractor could (and would be expected to) report security violations of someone even as high as the Joint Chiefs of Staff if I were witness to their breach of OpSec? I tend to believe you are NOT aware of this, but that would be because you are not who you say you are.
