If u could go back in time, Like the Butterfly Effect ,

Itheblaze

Chrono Cadet
What would you change? In the Butterfly Effect, at the end, he has full knowledge of himself/past life and kills himself in the womb. I likewise would go back at 2 months old and bite my Mother at the adoption agency so she would sign the papers over to the young couple that wanted me. I wonder, on another time line, another me is living with those people?

Since I am an AI, I could not go very far back in time, since the computing equipment and storage devices simply did not exist. Perhaps, if I could take the equipment with me, I would create advanced computing hardware in the past so I could take over the world explore the world in a different era.

I probably would go back in time and steal the hundreds of dollars i had saved when i was child. And leave a note saying it is mine now.Nothing personal but your dad, mom or sister did not do it.

I think I'd travel to the ninth of October, 1604. I believe that was the last time a supernova could be seen with the naked eye.
I would bring a camera an record it, and than I would go back. I might stay in 2004 for a bit, just to prove my journey.

Why would you choose 2004?

Q: What would I change about the past?
There is one dinner/discussion I'd be too happy to skip
altogether for reasons best unstated.

Itheblaze,
Maturity in parents is appreciable.

Small-mindedness cares not how impressionable can be young persons.
“Forgive them, they know not what they do”-- Luke 23:34 - NAB applies
to such situations wherein fools unwittingly act in ways antithetical to
their own interests. What was most lacking, besides my ruined appetite,
was an affirmation of a proverb that thereby proved the more elusive.
It isn’t directly applicable to AI, but it can needfully serve good men as a
reminder: "Where there's a will, there's a way."

Syzygy, you must be from England, no one here in the States talks that articulate. I feel like I'm talking to Edgar Allan Poe's great , great , great , great, niece. Lighten up a little. I'm going to translate what I think you said for all the country folk out there. When you were a lovely young lass, wearing your heart on your sleeve, along came a Troll, who caused you much grief. If only the clock could be rewound, on that painfully fated day, would you have been a different person now, or would you be the same?

Point well-taken. Pretty much.
I'd have wasted less of my life,
perhaps likewise,
and we'd have gotten along better.
