Although John had not mentioned this conflict specifically, does anyone think this could be tied to the bigger picture? In the end it was Russia VS the States, and Georgia is in tight with the states from what I have heard.

USA had some comandos practicing war games there a couple of weeks ago.

Right, OPERATION BRIMESTONE

Update:
UPDATE 8 August 2008

~ War has broken out between Georgia and South Ossetia.

At least 10 Russian troops have been killed and 30 wounded and 2 Russian fighter jets downed. American Marines, a thousand of them, have recently been in Georgia training the Georgian military forces. Several European nations stopped Bush and others from allowing Georgia into NATO. Russia is moving a large military force with armor towards the area. This could get bad, and remember it is just a strategic diversion....but one that could have horrific effects.

Link to story "Russia sends forces into Georgia rebel conflict".

FURTHER UPDATE

~ Russian military forces in active combat; now total of four Russian fighter jets reported downed.

Kuwait has activated its "Emergency War Plan" as it and other Gulf nations prepare for the likelihood of a major regional war in the Middle East involving weapons of mass destruction.

The two-ton elephant in the living room of the neo-con strategy is the advanced biowar (ABW) that Iran, and to a lessor extent Syria, has. This places the motherlands of the major neo-con nations (America, France, the United Kingdom), as well as Israel, in grave danger.

When the Soviet Union fell the Iranians hired as many out-of-work former Soviet advanced biowar experts as possible. In the last 15 or so years they have helped to develop a truly world class ABW program utilizing recombination DNA genetic engineering technology to create a large number of man made killer viruses.

This form of weapon system does not require high tech military delivery systems. The viruses are sub-microscopic and once seeded in a population use the population itself as vectors. Seeding can be done without notice in shopping malls, churches, and other public places.

The only real defense to an advanced global strategic biowar attack is to lock down the population as rapidly as possible and let those infected die off.

Yet another soft change to the Timeline:
Effect:
<font color="red"> This is only the beginning as the US is about to attempt a Naval blockade of Iran. And when a Chinese or Russian Naval warship attempts to escort a tanker through this blockade the missiles will start flying in all directions.

Then there's Iran's Advanced Biological Warfare weapons which can easily target the US mainland. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/kiss.gif

South Ossetia

Re: USA STARTED WW3 was;Russia VS Georgia

from BBC:
<font color="red"> Russian forces are locked in fierce clashes with Georgia inside its breakaway South Ossetia region, reports say, amid fears of all-out war.

Moscow sent armoured units across the border after Georgia moved against Russian-backed separatists.

Russia says 12 of its soldiers are dead, and separatists estimate that 1,400 civilians have died.

Georgia accuses Russia of waging war, and says it has suffered heavy losses in bombing raids, which Russia denies.

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili says he is willing to agree an immediate ceasefire

Russian tanks have reportedly reached the northern suburbs of the regional capital, Tskhinvali, and there were conflicting claims about who was in control of the city.

"Now our peacekeepers are waging a fierce battle with regular forces from the Georgian army in the southern region of Tskhinvali," a Russian military official was quoted as saying by Moscow-based news agency, Interfax.

To quote John

The attack on Europe is in response to a unified European army that masses and moves East from Germany. Also, please be aware that from my viewpoint, Russia attacked my enemy who was in the U.S. cities. Yes, the U.S. did counter attack.

End quote.

Now then, what kind of major event could ruffle the EUs feathers enough to mobilize them?
If Russia make rubble of Georgia and then sets its sights on the other lost territories....Well it wouldn't take a time traveler to predict what would happen next.

Our reality ain't his but their are an AWFUL LOT of similarities.

Personally, I just hope the biggest skeptics of this sight don't do anything harmful to themselves when this Olympic cycle gets canceled. Last time in 2006... I told everyone this olympic cycle wasn't it.

I stared posting my gut feeling about a week before the Opening Ceremony.

This time...

This time things are different. Different how? I am not sure what kind of answer I could give you to satisfy your questioning. But this one is 2003 bad.

Also for the record. Russia has invaded the Georgia interior. Attempting to occupy a few of their cities...

And from what I have seen at another site they may of killed US military to do it. I am not sure about the validity of the source but here is a link

Does anybody got the Status of The Gasoducts and Oleoducts on Osetia.
I hear on Radio that the Combats are going in these directions... /ttiforum/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Funny how this is big news but Con Rice signing a missile defence deal with the Czech's recently, and the Russian federation threatening a military response including pointing their nuclear arsenal at central europe is not.

It's sad you have to search for these underlying stories and the mainstream media refuses to carry them or reference to them. "The meek shall..."

I have a feeling there will be more interesting "searchable" international stories of this nature soon.

"All the world's a stage..."

and now -mixing ingredients-:
<font color="red"> In a telephone call to Georgia's leader Mikhail Saakashvili, the US Vice President, Dick Cheney, said Russian aggression "must not go unanswered".

President Bush said he had expressed his grave concern to Moscow at the military's "disproportionate" response.

Meanwhile, Georgia said Russian planes had bombed targets near its capital, despite Tbilisi declaring a ceasefire.

We should note how people twist events into what they need them to be to express their political opinion:

1) US invades Iraq. Ergo we should hate the US for starting a war. Fair enough if you feel this way. But now you cannot have it both ways when...

2) Russia essentially starts a war (goes FAR beyond "peacekeeping"). Rather than hate the Russians, who are clearly now acting out of aggression and, some say, to depose the Democratically-elected government of Georgia, what we see is people (recall?) twisting this situation to again make his point of "we should hate America".

What I am surprised by is that recall has not yet found a way to blame Zimbabwe and Darfur/Sudan on the USA to stoke his fires of hatred. The point being, not EVERYTHING bad that happens in the world is due to the US government!

Let's see how much the news covers the Russian aggression, and how many Western citizens rise up against Russia with the same fervor with which they protested the US/coalition invasion of Iraq. At least Bush went thru the UN and the US Congress before Iraq!! Have you seen the Russians floating any proposals in the UN to condemn Georgia?

From:
GLP

Russians move 2 SS-21 Ballistic Missile Launchers into South Ossetia.

Col. Sam Gardiner notes, in an interview with Amy Goodman on Democracy Now, Russia has deployed tactical nuclear weapons to South Ossetia. The SS-21 Missile launchers are relatively small compared to bombs that have already been used against Georgia by the Russian air force. However, this move does indicate Russia is potentially upping the game from a conventional weapons war to a tactical nuclear weapons war. Gardiner notes that at a news conference on Sunday, the US Deputy National Security advisor has noted these weapons arriving in South Ossetia.

....

For a picnic? i don`t think so...

Instead of Using "Da Tech" to Avoid the "Oil Wars" again, cause they got the "intel",
they want to play the nuclear Scenary and
a bonus "decrease population" at the same time...

As People got interested in The Olympics, they don`t want to hear about "war"...

but things happend...

Ok, Ray

Shall you put this Thread on "off topic", Please,

Thanks Ray...

:oops:

Here's one for you, recall:

Ezekiel 38 names:

Gog = Georgia
Magog = Russia
Meshech = Moscow
Tubal = Tblisi
Persia = Iran
Cush = ? (Today's Sudan)
Put = ? (Today's Libya)
Gomer = ? (Today's Turkey/Syria)
Beth Togarmah (from the far north) = ? (Former city in Syria/Turkey north of Israel)

Does this mean that Magog (Russia) will continue through Georgia and down to Israel with the help of Iran, Syria, and parts of Turkey? :D
