It is only 700 years because we have only recently researched the power output efficiency and technology for it to go that far. People are still working on getting it to go farer but it has been able to go back 700 since 2510 and we haven't been able to make it go farer since then.
I don't think we could go back another couple of hundred years after we already did because this century don't yet have enough power to do so.
It would never pull the person beside me in because first it creates a kind of bubble around me and then a second later I get transported.

well, take it from our POV, some guy a few summers back said he was a time hoppe, a million or so immitatoprs said so too, why should we believe you? we have to be skepticle about this.

A place called Big Ben in England is hit by a terrorist attack. I don't exactly know when it happens but I think it happens within the next 7 years.
When the US admitted that they had known for a long time about aliens, england, russia and most of europe denied that they knew anything and said that it was new to them.

How about the internet. how will it change? Or will it? Right now the latest that I know of is cable modem. Will there be something like satellite modem? Because we have cable and satellite television. Will the internet become accessed through a satellite modem? If such something should exist.

In the future it is run by brain power. you stick this device on your forehead and think of which site you want to go to or what you want to look for. using this you have to be careful because if you are on one website and you think about something else like naked ladies then a list of porn sites will show up.
I don't know how it will advance at the moment but I know that within 45 years everyone in the "developed world" will have access to the internet

what about global warming, the ozone, and the rainforests? how about cars or whatever transportation you have, got hovorcars yet? Harness the power of lightning, tornadoes, or even oceans, solar energy reach a height? Any stocks I should invest in? Is CJD gonna become an epidemic here in the USA? I don't think it does however that part of history might be lost like the iraq war is lost. I thought they hit syria. I do remember something about saddam hussein being toppled though and then 4 years later there is a civil war there.

In about 30 years you discover an animal in the (like one of those cats with no fur but twice as big) amazonian rainforest and you you find out that it is over 300 years old. You bring it back to study and it dies within 6 months. You study it some more and you find out that it has a gene for slowing down the aging process. It is another 40 years before you can safely replicate this gene and it is a great success. The gene slows down the aging process by 2 thirds. So when your 100 you still look 33.
Global warming happens in 90 years and it covers parts of britain and europe in a miny ice age for a couple of years until NASA are able to reverse the effects with a machine kind of like a terraforming device.
